Burns Night ‘23

The Lodge recently hosted its annual Burns Night celebration in the Keynsham Temple, in the Province of Somerset! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

The evening started with a double second degree ceremony that was expertly lead by the Ruler of the Lodge, Paul Stubbs. Each ‘officer’ of the lodge played a crucial role in making the ceremony first-class, with special recognition given to the deacons and the DC for their fine job during the Bristol workings ceremony. The Inner Guard to the Lodge also received well-deserved praise for his exceptional work. 🎉

After the ceremony, the festive board was filled with joy and laughter. The highlight of the festive board being the passionate and hilarious address to the Haggis by a visiting Scottish brother, who truly set the festive board in a fine Highland mood.
